Software Engineer

The journey began when he was accepted into the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia in 2021. Fast forward, he is graduating in July 2025 with a summa cum laude grade.

Between 2024 and 2025, he was busy gaining experience and worked at several places, ranging from a bank and a software house to a fast-paced startup. Most recently, he was a backend engineer at Hypefast, the pioneer and tech-based house of brands in Indonesia, where he contributed to building systems that powered operations across many local brands.

Before Hypefast, he was among the earliest engineers to join GoVisa, a YC-backed company that is revolutionizing how visa applications are processed. There, he developed internal business tools and helped the team serve over 100 clients daily.

In early 2024, he worked as a backend engineer intern at Bank BRI, one of the largest state-owned banks in Indonesia. Not long after, he was contracted by Matamedia as a full-stack engineer, working on a project for TVRI, Indonesia's oldest national public television network.

During his time on campus, he also worked as a teaching assistant in many different courses, helping students with topics like web development and data structures & algorithms. He was also actively involved in campus life, serving as a mentor for freshmen and participating in various committees and organizations.

He has shipped to production primarily using Go and TypeScript, but also has experience in Python, Java, and Rust. He has also worked on projects using frontend stacks like React and Next.js. He has spent time struggling his way through both GCP and AWS environments. He is comfortable with Linux and regularly uses DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Docker and GitHub Actions. When his backlogs are done, he enjoys experimenting with Kafka and Kubernetes, reading this book, or share his thoughts on about what he learns here and here (or below).
